Most-cited scientist
The chemist Professor J.H. van Boom (1937) is the Netherlands' most-cited scientist. Van Boom has been professor of bio-organic chemistry at the University of Leiden since 1979. He does research into the synthesis of bio-polymers such as nucleic acids and peptides.
