De dreigende crisis leek opgelost. Voortaan moest men alle meningen ook als 'mening' aankondigen. Een kwetsende opmerking maken was geen probleem zolang er maar "JMO" (just my opinion), "My POV" (my point of view), of "My $0.02" (my two cents) bij stond. En zoals hij al zei, Greg snapte het. Steeds meer listmembers werden meegesleept in bruut taalgebruik - zolang er maar JMO onder stond. Een heftig voorbeeld van D. M. Stillwood (VS):|

Behoorlijk ruige taal. Dan blijkt het toch mee te spelen of iemand een 'gewaardeerd' listmember is, al langer post en de meeste emails met zorg opstelt. D.M. is heel hard in haar mening over Brooke maar wordt niet aangevallen. Greg heeft nog geen naam opgebouwd. Wanneer hij abrupt een verzonnen verhaallijn van Kevin afschiet, krijgt hij de volle laag. Waar anderen enthousiast zijn over de hersenspinsels van Kevin, zegt Greg:

Dat was de knuppel in het hoenderhok. Na drie weken intensief mailen, na veel meningsverschillen, stevige discussies en af en toe gemene uithalen, werd het uiteindelijk een ordinaire scheldpartij. Een jongen van 16 met een pertinente/rotsvaste mening, zonder veel gevoel voor tact, en een dame van 58 die niet van haar standpunt af wil en haar leeftijd laat gelden. De emails waren meestal nog inhoudelijk. Tot nu toe.

Greg I have to say one thing to you calm down! Us people here in the Seattle
area had suffered seven long years without B&B and we had to go through alot
to get it and if you can't say nothing nice then don't say it at all!
