In my opinion there is almost no question that a large proportion of german population in the 1930th and early 40th was injected with the "hate pill". it was always easier for them to blame someone else for their own short commings, especially a very small defenseless minority.. What struck me the most that at that time eveyone in germany had the cowardly excuus "we did not know" . very few had the courage then to admit guild and was willing to take the consequences . I trust that todays german youth has more courage and better sense of what's right and wrong.
